successful completion

The BLS for Healthcare
Providers Course covers
core material such as
adult and pediatric CPR
(including two-rescuer scenarios
and use of the bag
mask), foreign-body airway
obstruction, and automated
external defibrillation. Skills
Testing and
Written Exam - 20 Questions w score of 84 or better. A
student CD, included with
the text, contains supplemental
information for the student
on topics such as stroke,
cardiac arrest, and special
resuscitation situations.

This course is designed for those who have a
duty to respond to a
cardiac emergency
because of job responsibilities
or regulatory requirements such as Medical
Office Staff to include (CNA's) Certified Nursing
Assistants , Resident Assistants, Home Health Care Aides and , Adult
Living Facilities.
The Heartsaver CPR
Course contains updated
content and science from
the 2005 American Heart
Association Guidelines
for CPR and ECC.The
course teaches CPR and
relief of choking in adults
and children and infant CPR and relief of choking. Participants
must pass a Skills test only and are not required to take a written
exam. Upon completion of course you will receive the Heartsaver
CPR
